@Selcoeurl I don't generally get a good endorphin rush unless my mouth goes numb. :)
@sfleetucker If my mouth gets buzzy, that's one thing. If I temporarily lose my sense of taste, that's annoying.
My stomach can no longer take the level of spice I need to get truly high... but I can approach it if I have something that's a slow burn that builds... and I'm careful to take all the things to protect my stomach.
Also: Ed Currie is a madman.
@tyghebright Sorry about that. I'd be very unhappy if I had to give up a good burn.
my behind is exactly why i will not be trying this new creation.
@sfleetucker "All well and good, but the Indominus Pepper Rex will a mutation too far!"
@sfleetucker On the one hand: relevant to my interests. On the other—and I'm speaking as someone who's tried Apollo pepper sauce and done the Paquí One-Chip Challenge here—I suspect this one may be too spicy to try more than once.
Then again: my gripe with the sauce was that my tastebuds went numb in protest. And my gripe with the chip were that it was overly spicy, we had 97° weather, and it upset my stomach for several hours and turned me off spice for several 𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘴.
