I finally get a jury summons, sent to my address here in New Mexico and guess where the summons is coming from? Marion County, Indiana. Dudes! I haven't lived in IN for over a year and a half!
I've always been interested in serving as a juror but in my years I've only ever received one, back in the early '90s and when I called in that morning I was told I was no longer needed.

I just got a stupid call from one of my mom's home care agency nurses.
She: "I'm supposed to see your mom at 4 pm and I called and knocked on the door and there's no answer."
Me, looks at the clock and it says 3:42pm: "Did you call her beforehand to let her know you were coming early? She's probably out and about."
She: "I guess I'll just sit out here and wait until 4 o'clock."

He’s just so damn adorable. And a great heater on chilly winter nights. ❤️

I bought a couple of feline calming diffusers, a brand called Comfort Zone, cheaper than Feliway, and put one in the living/dining area and one in the bedroom. He’s (Smitty), been on the Prozac now for five days and the Gabapentin for 2 1/2 weeks. All I can do now is hope he starts feeling better and he and Maddie stop fighting. Now, how do I stop feeling like I’ve hurt my silly Tuxie because of my mental illness. 😢

When I first saw the petition, I wanted more info on it & wondered what the sick day coverage is for GSK employees. I wasn't able to find the corporate policy, but I did find the nonprofit that has partnered with GSK.

For once, an ad I saw on YouTube has been helpful. The company who makes Theraflu, GSK, has a petition for Congress to make sick days a right instead of the screwed-up system we have now.
I know a lot of people say petitions don't work but if you follow up with your state politicians and bug 'em, then just maybe change will happen.

Can anyone help me with my confusion over using vinegar to wash my clothes. I need to get my towels back being absorbent and I want to get rid of any detergent residue in all my clothes.

I’ve searched around and the results I’ve found all have different methods.
1) Pour in rinse dispenser only, wash with detergent.
2) Use only vinegar as a replacement for the detergent.
And then there’s the multitude of different amounts of vinegar to use.

UGH! HELP!

Running five minutes behind, only four handicap parking spots at the hospital, and only one person at the check-in desk and she was on the phone until finally another gal started helping, all equaled me checking in 14 minutes late for my appointment. They have a 15-minute cut-off. My doctor refused to see me. 🤬 What is the f***** point of checking-in on MyChart if I still have to check-in at the desk?? 🤬

From a few days ago as I parked my car. Seeing them in the window waiting for me is one of the best gifts they give me. 💗 And seeing Maddie allow Smitty to nuzzle her really brightens me up.
