The look that says, “Mommmm, what’s with the bright light? I was sleeping here!” To which mom says, “You’re darn lucky I turned on the light or I’d not have seen your black body against the dark carpet!” 😆🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m trying to erase the hard drive on my very old Mac laptop (15 yrs) and I keep getting this error. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks to help yesterday from my friend V, my bedroom and office are much cooler now. We applied blackout cling to the office window and shade cling to the bedroom, so that I can still tell it’s morning when I wake up. LOL

Maddie, though, wasn’t going to be told to get off the bed no matter what he or I said. 😆

Wednesday night I set out, by the door, this old ratty comforter, (and bag of stuff for a homeless shelter), to take to the animal humane shelter and then my days got crammed with other things to do. Meanwhile, Maddie decided it’s her new sleeping spot and now I’m wondering if I shouldn’t find a way to keep it.
She and Smitty have two cat beds, plus a slew of other spots to snooze on but she has to snag the item I need to get rid of. 🤦🏻‍♀️

10 months ago I moved back to New Mexico & I'm still finding things I didn't realize I had packed or thought they'd been lost to gods knows where.

My old Mac Pro laptop from '07. I kept it around because for over a decade I didn't have a laptop & I could still use a few programs on it when I didn't want to be at home on the desktop. I thought I had finally erased the hard drive & recycled it when I got a laptop in '21. Guess not.

Mads is keeping it company while the hard drive slowly erases.

What I was looking for when I decided to veer off, like I do all too damn often, is a new pair of water shoes because my current pair are on their last feet. (HA!! just couldn't resist).

Looking at reviews for one style I found this one and like so many good Amazon reviews, I'm left laughing and shaking my head at the bizarreness of people.

What's wrong with a clear plastic bag? It comes inside a reg Amazon packaging. And, ummm...these aren't meant for on-land use darlin'.

I was on Amazon to get a few things and was curious about what sort of cooling wraps there are nowadays, being as I've never bought such a thing. I've got various things around the homestead I can use anyway but I did wonder.

Prepare water to 51C?? 😵 😂 That would be 124F!
