Learned something new today. What I thought was normal drainage for a swamp cooler, (evaporative cooler), is most definitely not. I’m unfamiliar with the specifics of swamp coolers as this is the first apartment I’ve had with one.

Brother2 came over to help me with a few things and the first thing he says, “Looks like your cooler is leaking.” Me: “Oh damn, that’s not normal?” Him: “Oh hell no.”

The property co. installed new coolers in May. 🤨🤬

I wandered around the downtown farmer’s market this morning and thanks to the walker my spine NP got for me, I was able to wander for at least 1/2 an hour, but I think longer. 🕺🥳

I drooled over the amazing French breads from La Quiche Parisienne Bistro, then took a break to listen to a band and watch kiddos having fun.
Afterwards, I needed a latte from one of my favorite cafes, Java Joe’s.
And now, I need a nap after getting less than five hours sleep.

I pick up the Smittle monster and I'm petting him and he starts doing this new weird thing where he raises his head back and starts bobbing back and forth, up and down while talking.

Then, out of the blue he starts licking my nose. Whaaat? I'm giggling, thinking this is adorable when all of a sudden he darn near takes a bit out of my nose. WTF!!

I tell ya, this cat is one part dumb as a rock and one part psychopath.

I've got plenty of space on the desk for this cat to sit, lay down, flop around, get plenty of attention from me but where does she want to stand?
I told her if she keeps standing on top of my laptop and breaks it, she'll not be getting any Greenies or catnip for a very long time.

I'm running low on acetaminophen so I pull up the Wallymart site to check on the price and I noticed there's this arthritis version.

Does anyone take this, or has taken it, instead of basic acetaminophen?

I’m cleaning out my desk drawers and found these all neatly placed in a baggie that is obviously very old.

I'm wondering if there's any reason I should keep: a short coaxial cable, ethernet cables, and a USB-A to USB-B cable? I obviously have never needed 'em if they've been stuck in the back nether regions of my desk drawers.

Does anyone know if the soft foam cane grip can be coloured, like to a bright (or at least not dark), color? Was almost late to meet my friend for breakfast. 😠
I spent almost 1/2 an hour this morning trying to find this damn thing. I kept retracing my steps but walked past it twice before finally seeing it up against my bed frame, (and clothes thrown over the frame). The majority of my furniture is either black or dark.

😏 Gotta love the National Park Services spunk.

Latest office update! Spent about three to four hours this week doing more work on the room and then a friend came over on Friday and spent two hours helping me get curtains up in this room and my living room. And fixed the patio gate latch to make it more secure, after I had a bit of a scare Tuesday eve.

1st photo is now. 2nd photo is two weeks ago. 3rd is 2 months ago. 4th is The Queen, who is very happy her servant found her bed.

Do “these” go bad? (no clue what the correct word is), lightbulb mount? Where ya stick a bulb in and PRESTO CHANGO let there be light!

Anyway, I put in a new bulb, flipped the switch and “POP” goes the bulb. Thinking it was a faulty bulb, I put another one in. “POP!” 🤬🤬
