Does anyone know if the soft foam cane grip can be coloured, like to a bright (or at least not dark), color? Was almost late to meet my friend for breakfast. 😠
I spent almost 1/2 an hour this morning trying to find this damn thing. I kept retracing my steps but walked past it twice before finally seeing it up against my bed frame, (and clothes thrown over the frame). The majority of my furniture is either black or dark.
There are also a huge variety of bike handle bar tapes that could be wrapped around the cane's body to give it color:

I actually have the top half duct taped but if it’s set against the top of the dining table but on the side that is closest to the wall (I seem to have a tendency to set it down in the stupidest and weirdest of places), I won’t see that part.
I'll have to check the diameter of the opening to see if it will stretch enough to slide on the metal (under the grip). Thanks, I'll look into this idea. 😀
Cool, idea, 😃 though I'd need to find someone who crochets. Pretty sure none of my local friends have this skill.

I can totally relate to the need for contrast. I seldom choose black items for this very reason.

My mostly visually-oriented brain seems to be hijacking all my other sensory styles.
I've always preferred black or dark furniture over any of the lighter woods such as oak. And when it comes to clothes, I used to never wear white or pale tones but my fashion style has changed A LOT in the past 15yrs. I almost never wear black or dark colors in the summer during the day now. Too f**** out now.
Just be sure to post the measurements. And color preferences. I'll look in my stash to see what I have that's close.
