I got a text today from an artist friend in Texas asking what I'm going to be doing on the 24th of June cause she's coming to town. 😃 I can't wait to meet her in-person!

I first saw her awesome pen & ink drawings over at ye olde bird and we connected fast. Then last March, (my bday month), she messages me and asks for my address. Huh?

Mail arrives & there's a poster tube. Open up and O-M-G! It's one of my favorites of her work! 😍

The Rosemary cutting my bestie gave me yesterday. What a strong scent it has! Can't wait for it to get bigger and to start using fresh rosemary.
I've been waiting for Trader Joe's to have their live basil plants again because I wasn't able to bring the huge pot I had when I moved last August.

While searching for a meditation app, (I've always had an easier time when someone is guiding me), I found Balance: Meditation & Sleep and they're giving a free one-year subscription.

I'm going to sign-up and hopefully, I'll like it. I already have sleep/calming music apps: nature, binaural beats, and others but I really want to get back to meditating. My brain needs to calm the *bleep* down.

Mads is most definitely not enthused about my decision to watch Harry Potter again. 😂

Harmony in the tower. For about 30 seconds. 😄 After I snapped the last pic, Maddie whacked Smits on top of the head three times, (while he was looking at me), hissed, and then stormed off. I couldn’t stop laughing! I wish I had caught it on video. 🤣🤣

I've been seeing a commercial on Hulu for my county's recycling program, which says that only numbers 1,2, and 5 plastics are allowed.
I found this odd because when I moved here I looked at the city recycling page to find out what I could toss in the recycling bin. Sure enough, it says #s 1-7 are allowed.

I'm over at my mom's and I brought my laptop and image drive for us to look at photos of my Aunt Teresita, her sister.

This pic is of her in Lima, Peru but I don't know what year. If I were to guess, it's probably sometime in the 1960s.

This was a photo she had in her nursing home and when I visited her in 2017 I snapped pics of what she had. Her smile and bright eyes never changed in her 90 1/2 yrs. ♥️
My cousin is coming to hang out w/ me on Sunday & we're going to have a memorial.

This is one of my favorite abstracts. Shooting concerts were fun, thrilling, and a challenge. Plus, I had front-row seats. 😁

G’morning everyone! I want to thank everyone for your kind and soothing words after I told you about my Aunt Teresita passing away on Monday. You all gave me a wonderful gift. ♥️
