This day keeps on hitting.

Two family members have died this year & the husband of my cousin. An aunt in Jan and now my oldest uncle this morning. 😢

I wasn't close to the aunt and hadn't seen her in decades but I liked my uncle. I didn't see him often, because he and his wife lived/live in the D.C., area but he was kind. I'd call them periodically to chat, which I rarely do with most of my other relatives.

Damnit. It's not even March.

Going through my images, as I always do when I'm grieving, and found this shot from 2012.

Though I end up crying my heart out as I search for photos of those who have passed away and were a part of my life it comforts me to see their life laid out in front of me and to know I got the opportunity to capture the memories.

Take care Uncle John wherever you are now., ♥️

(Him and my Aunt Teresita [who passed away last summer])

They were the oldest of the siblings but always seemed to be not as burdened by stuff as the others.
