I just got a stupid call from one of my mom's home care agency nurses.
She: "I'm supposed to see your mom at 4 pm and I called and knocked on the door and there's no answer."
Me, looks at the clock and it says 3:42pm: "Did you call her beforehand to let her know you were coming early? She's probably out and about."
She: "I guess I'll just sit out here and wait until 4 o'clock."

Most insurance stops paying for home care once people are out and about, so nurses aren't expecting it.

I’m not entirely sure I understand what you’re saying but all the woman had to do was call and let my mom know she was planning on coming earlier than what was expected. My mom was just up the road at one of my brother’s houses.
