There it is again. A potential employer sending me an email after midnight. This doesn't bode well with me that you are having to work late at night. Set a delayed delivery or something.

@scottyorange email… some people think that work emails can be sent anytime because you should not be reading them after work so it shouldn’t matter as long as you have it in your inbox first and waiting. There is also the question… did you email them at all? You did send a resume? They could be working overtime to find a suitable candidate and felt they should respond to you asap.
I see the potential for something if you emailed them first.🤷♀️
@Pennyformythoughts I had not thought of that. I did email them 9am Monday morning. I could have emailed them Sunday night but I thought emailing Monday morning would be better.

@MisterE fair enough. I know some rejection emails go out at specific times.
@scottyorange I remember being given a mandate that certain communications would be done at specific times, and I accomplished that stuff. Other times, I would be told to schedule an interview at 4 AM. *smh* I had the poor bastard stop off at Dunkin and bring coffee. He did. The things you have to do sometimes.
@scottyorange Was having just this conversation last week! I’m team delayed delivery. 100% chance if you get an email from me @0800 I didn’t send it then. Never want to pressure someone into thinking they should be responding outside of normal work hours.
@scottyorange Depends where the company is based and where their staff are located. It's 8:30am in Dubai, 2:30pm in Sydney, 10am in Delhi.
