@sarcasmsign My wife and I went on a short trip recently. I needed small roller carry on bag. My dad passed in 2014. I remembered we had his old bag. I found it in a closet and when I opened it there was a brand new pair of suspenders. My dad used to wear suspenders. Finding them in there put me in a really sad mood for the rest of the night.

@sarcasmsign Grief comes in waves, I've found. Sometimes, they are the little waves that just gently tickle your toes....Others, are the giant, crashing sneaker waves, that come without warning and knock you on you ass.

@Evereigh Thank you. This is definitely one of the big sneaky waves. We lost him in January, but because he had Alzheimer's.. it's kinda more like we lost him in 2020. Tough stuff for sure. Thanks again. ❤️
