my family is super-picky, but dang--rottentomatoes.com is letting me down on movies I can suggest we watch. How do you all surface movies to watch?

Makes thing very easy to find.
The recommended lists take some time to work well, as one has to rate a lot on movies, and TV shows.
But after that, it works well.
