Hey y'all! I'm not sure how long I'll have service. I just got it back this morning. Anyway I wanted to let you all know that we're fine. No power and I'm cooking on a grill outside but we're fine.

@rpardee roy, I'm in a rural area and from what I've heard they're over over 4 million people without power in North Carolina. That does not take any consideration all the other damage there's so much flooding and I'm surprised we didn't lose our driveway. But we didn't. Anyway, we may be low on the totem pole as far as getting those services back. We'll see I have water. I have lots of wood if I need it to cook I have one medium sized bag of charcoal. I should be fine. The thing that worries me

@rpardee the food situation worries me. I have a deep freezer and I have a refrigerator freezer and the stuff in the refrigerator freezer is having to be cooked today.

@Lindy oof that's rough. And I expect it's not like you could e.g., run out & buy a generator in this moment...

@rpardee roy, we have a generator but it's hooked up to the RV and on the list of things we still need to do, we have to put up a box took it up to the house. Oops probably should have done that first.

@Lindy @rpardee

Seems like should be one receptacle right on the generator even if you don't normally use it.

@Sr0bi @rpardee but it's hooked up to the RV which is too far from the house to be useful for us.

@rpardee as far as running out and buying stuff there's no gas to be had all the stores are empty if there is a place that has gas it's gone in a matter of an hour or so so I'm going to have to do with what I've got.
