Well hell--youngest seems to have lost her career direction. She had been thinking medicine, but the science pre-reqs are just too much of a slog.

Poor kid.

@rpardee Ugh. I feel her. When I started UCLA, I was going to go into comp sci. The calculus and physics were too much for me.

@LiberalLibrarian heh--that was engineering for me. I was keeping my head above water, but then I got my heart broken, and decided I needed to study psychology instead.

@rpardee It's a long road. She'll figure it out. If she still wants to work in healthcare there are a lot of options out there. Best of luck.

i know it's hard as a parent. i went through this with my son. your daughter has many options and I agree with Stuey she'll find her way forward. @rpardee @stueytheround

Mention to her she has time. Find something that sparks her up now that she believes she can do. Then after that success she can revisit this dream.
