Well hell--youngest seems to have lost her career direction. She had been thinking medicine, but the science pre-reqs are just too much of a slog.
Poor kid.
@LiberalLibrarian heh--that was engineering for me. I was keeping my head above water, but then I got my heart broken, and decided I needed to study psychology instead.
@rpardee It's a long road. She'll figure it out. If she still wants to work in healthcare there are a lot of options out there. Best of luck.
@stueytheround ah, thanks. I just wish I could tell her what she should do...
i know it's hard as a parent. i went through this with my son. your daughter has many options and I agree with Stuey she'll find her way forward. @rpardee @stueytheround
@rpardee
Mention to her she has time. Find something that sparks her up now that she believes she can do. Then after that success she can revisit this dream.
Careers are not a race they are a dance.
@rpardee Ugh. I feel her. When I started UCLA, I was going to go into comp sci. The calculus and physics were too much for me.
