I saw a @Stonekettle post on mastodon pointing out that as a convicted felon and florida resident, Trump will now not be able to vote for himself.

I thought that too, but just read that Florida and New York laws would allow it, unless he's incarcerated and even then... it's complicated. CNN mentioned it:

"Trump is now a Florida resident – and Florida voters, in 2018, overwhelmingly backed a referendum to reenfranchise convicted felons.
... Florida actually defers to the jurisdiction of a felony conviction... in New York, any convicted felon who is not incarcerated is eligible to register to vote."
