@jjGravitas I grew up in NYC, and as far as I can recall we never called Nassau "upstate", since it's on Long Island.

@LiberalLibrarian @jjGravitas yeah, I grew up in Nassau county--def not upstate.

"upstate" is everything north of the Bronx. ;-)

I also grew up in Nassau County, we were most definitely not upstate. We were Lawn Guyland.
