@rootwoman123 Maybe if the system of government had been run well enough that we didn't have bad wages, wealthy inequality, climate change, vitriolic partisanship, and being fed bullshit by two self-interested parties for all this time, people would be more willing to defend it.
I propose we start insisting that democracy actually be _functional_ in this country.
I have a different opinion, I think they clearly see it, and really don't care that it lasts.
@rootwoman123 Bingo! Jews didn't expect Hitler's henchmen to build death camps. The Vietnamese didn't expect Pol Pot to build extermination camps. The Chinese didn't expect Mao to build reeducation camps. It happened there and it can happen here. Holocaust survivors warned us 8 years ago!
