@rootwoman123 My state was really getting overrun with Klanned Karenhood groups in school districts in almost every single county. They had infiltrated a lot of school boards and were running for positions again in 2023. They got SLAMMED. It was a thing of beauty. In PA, we have local elections on odd years, so 2023 was our midterm and it was lovely. They lost almost every seat, walked away with no majorities even in the few spots where they didn't lose.

North Carolina has its problems, but book banning isn't one of them so far, thankfully. I watched the Assholes with Casseroles lose, even in the places I thought they might win. Sadly, I doubt they are through trying tho.

@rootwoman123 Maybe it is time for colleges and universities to step up. What if... what if these institutions announced that applicants from states that ban books would be penalized (by qualification algorithms) for coming from a state that encourages the suppression of the free exchange of ideas?
