I'm a huge fan of Mordru. He's nasty af. The way he smiled and taunted at the others. I gotta love his antics.
@nblumengarten That was my favorite storyline - I pity anyone who does not read that shit.
I love when a story takes a detour like that, where the hero wins not by fighting, but by negotiating. It happens so rarely, it's always a treat to see.
I know the 5YL Legion has its detectors, but I also love that they were able to go in a unique direction and tell stories that previously would have been unthinkable to tell.
I love the Hell out of the Post-Zero Hour Legion, don't get me wrong, but so much was lost when they rebooted everything.
@nblumengarten I'm a huge fan of 5YL. At first, I was confused but I kept on going ... and I love it!
@nblumengarten I don't like the post-ZH.
I was originally hesitant, but it won me over quickly. The launch of Legionnaires was what got me interested in the Legion, so I guess I was primed to accept a more youthful, "contemporary" Legion.
That being said, I did go and find most of the 5YL run and I love it, dearly.
@nblumengarten I also loved when Mysa finally defended herself against Mordru.
@ridor9th
I liked the reveal in the 89 Legion series that the Legion was created by the Time Trapper to stop Mordru from running the galaxy for 1,000 years.
Also great is Rokk Krin, Cosmic Boy himself, and Mordru's chess match of a discussion, which leads to Rokk agreeing to leave Mordru alone in exchange for his former teammates.
