@Autumn omg, that is so terrible. So sorry to hear that. I'm hoping my kids' generation will help break us from FB as a means of communications. They're in HS and college, neither them or their friends want anything to do with FB.

@amarand @Autumn I did learn about other people's passing through text and phone, but for these two I probably wasn't high enough in the pecking order.

@Autumn I tried giving up Facebook last year. I missed the passing of two people I knew well enough that I should’ve attended the funerals. Unfortunately this is how these things are communicated these days. I’d delete the app from my devices if it wasn’t for that.
