I will fight for them until I can't fight any more. 🇺🇸 It is hard and it is uncomfortable, but if I could be saved then so can they.

@WellWellWell3 I think the biggest two lessons I have learned while traveling. I love my country, but America isn't that great. Health care is better in every country I've been in. At least, the ones I needed to see a Doctor in. 😂 And I'm accident prone, so it's a few. I've even been to Cuba, and the health care was faster and better there too. 😏 I learned how friendly and unscary the world actually is. I've been on the border of war zones and felt safer than in many places in America.

@SassySherry7 I spend a few months every year traveling, doing work exchanges, and backpacking or hitch hiking across different countries.

I was Republican. And MAGA, for a little while. Flags, riding the big trucks, attending rallies. I was in kind of deep for a time.

But really good, dedicated, and mighty stubborn friends helped me, softly, see things clearly. They helped me reach a point where I realized, myself, where I was. It took time, but I got out.

Now I want to save my family.

@SassySherry7 I love my country and I want to see it at least try to do what many other countries are doing in regards to healthcare and social services.

But, it's hard to see that future. I love America, but I'm scared to death to grow old there.

Lately, there are days I think about never going back home to America.

If it wasn't for trying to save my family from MAGA and Q, I don't know if I would go back.

It's very much "How did you end up in a cult?" situation. I would love to be able to give a clean "because of THIS" reason, but it isn't so clear cut. 😞 It's very much all about the emotional charges which are often very unreasonable.

@SassySherry7 I have read a few horror stories now and it amazes me in a terrible way to know that people go through these struggles. I was, honestly, blind to these struggles for many years. I'm so sorry, I hope things get better. ❤️

@catmachine The trick to getting your credit score to go up is not to pay it off every month. Try to keep about 15-20% of your credit balance in use at all times.

Credit card companies will give you a better score if they feel they can make money from you in interest. That is how they encourage you to get and use more credit.

Source: Some of my family work in finances and this is, exactly, what they told me. I followed their advice and rocketed my credit score.

Healthcare in America is so bad.

I saw someone post earlier that America has gun care and health control, and it's so true.

@MonicaPecoraro As my Dad always told me growing up, "Find a strong Republican man to marry and take care of you."

They romanticize "how great it used to be".

I dated Republican men. They couldn't handle my independence. Especially my nomadic way of traveling the world. They were terrified to step out of America and go with me. 😑

They want a woman to stay home, cook, clean, and play with their Sorry, I had to use that emoji in a legitimate way after what happened earlier. 😂

I think the Republican bubble baffles a lot of people who aren't in the middle of it. I'm happy to share what insight I can into why I thought that way, and why my family thinks that way.

I don't know if it will help others or not, but I hope it does. In some small way.
