Where country are you currently located in and how did you end up there? You mentioned not being in the U.S.

Right now, I'm in Germany.

How did I end up here?

It's a long but short story! For the last five or so years of my life, I have been doing work exchange for house and board. I usually do it for two to six months every year. Not as much the last three years, but I still travel when I can.

It's a great way to experience the world!

So many opportunities to travel and do different jobs!

You can even sail the world incredibly cheap by booking passage on a cargo ship. It doesn't have all the amenities of a cruise ship, and you could spend a month going port to port, but you can get to any major port. If you're lucky, you can even work on one doing odd jobs and get paid to travel.
