Our day started early at the hospital (testing stuff for @junation and thankfully no longer scary), then we got donuts, and then off to the courthouse we went for in-person absentee voting (as early voting is known around here). We did our part.

It is #Caturday night. I got both a flu shot and a Covid shot yesterday. I am right fucked up from them (which is highly preferable to having either the flu or Covid) but #Bridget is looking after me. #CatsOfCoSo

A smile for tonight: when I went to Aldi yesterday to buy zucchini to cook, I found this giraffe whose name is now Zucchini and who is one of the stuffies in my classroom - because sophomore football players apparently like hugging stuffies.

This morning I looked at the results of yesterday's lab work: lymphocyte count has dropped even lower. I will be calling hematology on Monday. Today, however, I spent all day at a #bellydance event taking classes and also performing w two of my dance sisters. Because today I am alive and able to dance.

On this #Caturday we are giving a growth report on #Milo : he is seven months and the size of a normal adult house cat. He is going to be huge. He is also practicing the Billy Idol lip curl.

Hiya. I am at the a la carte antibiotics stage: sent msg to PCP on portal, telling her the gross symptoms I am having, and that I am self-diagnosing a sinus infection and which specific antibiotic I would like. God bless that woman, she prescribed them. Then I had a retina appointment - retina holding nicely for a change!!! - but then I needed sunglasses and I was already masking and now here is the best selfie of my entire damn life.
