When my SIL died, I started looking at healing symbols as #tattoo ideas. Didn't do anything but this morning I felt that if I could get in at the shop I have gone to before, I am getting a spiral sun, the healing symbol from petroglyphs, added to my left shoulder / upper arm in her honor. Sorry about the squished arm positioning, etc., but here is my new tatt. Artist says it is the first human-made symbol recorded.

Today is a day of reflection, grief, sadness, and anger. It is also #Caturday , though, so here is a mini head tilt from #Zoli . Today the furkids are super important to get us through the day. #CatsofCoSo

Good morning CoSo! Starting the day w #GoodVibes of a personal nature. I have Lily of the Valley planted in our raised flower bed. They look so innocent but they are the most invasive shits ever. They survive every fucking thing and controlling them is a huge battle. They are an inspiration and a metaphor for me because I live with anxiety and depression.

This is #Bridget as a half loaf. I love how her ber eyes match her dilute ginger coat. She came to us from a friend who couldn't take care of her. She was only about two, w horrible dental health. We got her a dental that led to the extraction of most of her teeth. That was years ago. She is happy, healthy, loving, and a touch rotund. #CatsofCoSo #FloodTheFirehose #GoodVibes

@junation is back from onboarding for his new job, and it is the weekend. Ergo dinner date. I loved the top of the fire place as a decor item and the edible lotus on my food.

I haven't had a #manicure in ages. My nails have been breaking and peeling for some time. But they are healthy now, although short, so I wrapped them in this odds and ends little number. (A few diseases and medications weaken them, and there is a lot of hand washing and chemicals in a household w 13 pets).

Although I started this day with a dog post, here are #Elsa (on my shoulder) and #Zoli to mark this #Caturday . When I was a child, there were books that depicted witches w cats on their shoulders. So... #CatsofCoSo

Gotta brag on my Baby Boy: #Malcolm made his first visit at a center for at-risk teens yesterday, lay in the middle of a circle of them, and then one teen asked 'can I use him as a pillow?' I know my dog and trust him and the #PetPartners program so I said sure. Malcolm calmly lay there w a teen draped across him. Had never been to the facility or met anyone there before yesterday. #WeDontDeserveDogs #DogsofCoSo
