More than trace amounts of attitude found!

A few years ago, I was part of a group of women at our university who read the Vagina Monologues for Women's History Month. The organizer got outrageous sunglasses for all of us and today I felt like wearing them.

My #adjunct duties aren't till evening, so in the early part of the day, I reached peak middle-aged provincial and listened to 60s hits while fighting the ivy and weeds trying to engulf the side of our house. Singing and dancing were extra. And given how much dust my shower speaker took on, I should've taken it into the shower afterwards.

I love #VisibleMending as a metaphor for life: brokenness leads to usefulness and uniqueness. I also love it as just about the most soothing activity. But today is even better: I threaded my needle without using one of those little needle threading tools! Ten eye surgeries and partial blindness in one eye, huge struggle to keep whatever vision I have make this a sweet victory.

I am sick enough to have no sense of smell and very decreased sense of taste. To my utter dismay, I cannot taste sweet taste profiles. Which leads directly to this, which also cleans sinuses, so that is a bonus.

If you are sick and have to expect to look and feel.like shit for at least one more week, take a selfie with someone stunning, for contrast. #Twin helps me demonstrate. #CatsofCoSo

Good morning CoSo!
I just snuck away from bed + a sleeping pack (partner plus dogs) to use my infrared lamp to fight my monster cold. Going out to dinner last night proved to be a classic case of overdoing it. But it was an Austrian restaurant where the lemons wore cheese cloth skirts to make sure you could squeeze them without risking seeds dropping on your food. Fancier than our usual, let's say.

A staple of the no makeup look, but I have never used it until tonight: brown eyeliner. Then I went on to use absolutely nothing else, and now I am going out to dinner barefaced. I miss the drama of black eyeliner. Oh well.

In 2008 my soul dog was going blind so I adopted a dog to help him. Today is the anniversary of adopting the helper dog, Bailey. She was *perfect*. Sould dog died in 2016, Bailey in 2019. This is me with Bailey in 2016. I miss her every day, even though we have a lovely pack, two of whom had the honor of knowing Bailey. To not fall all the way into grief, I gave #Neville a beard trim

Candle and moonstone kind of day - not holding a seance, just deleting jobs I saved before but that don't seem such a good idea any longer. Both the candle and the stone were gifts from amazing women I am proud to call friends.

In our household, April 20 is celebrated as #Neville and our petiversary. I found him in the street on this day in 2021. For two years now, @junation and I have been learning The Way of the Lhasa. #DogsofCoSo

Sweet Ausshole moment: #Mozart wanted to cuddle, then pawed me to get closer until I toppled over - but not without selfies on the way down. (If you don't know why Australian Shepherd owners call their dogs Aussholes, I can schedule a workshop.) #DogsofCoSo #WeDontDeserveDogs
