So here’s the deal. Immunotherapy given during chemotherapy fucked him up. He has new conditions of SIADH, hypothyroidism, hiatal hernia, gastrointestinal issues, hypomagnesmia, disphagia, hyponatremia & possible adrenal gland inefficiency, A team of Nephrologist Endocrinologist , Gastrologist, Oncologist, Heart Specialist are monitoring his health. The meds to bring his sodium level to normal are brutal. His nutrition is crap sustainable with nutritional drinks & minimal solids. Long road ahead

And…ongoing immunotherapy as once planned will not be happening. Therefore the cancer returning is higher than had he been able to take it.

His plan is a cat scan in January, then every six months for two years. Then annual for life. That’s the best scenario at this point.

He plugs along despite his situation and managed a walk halfway down the long drive. That’s a win. A positive. And I’ll take it 💜

So COSO. If you’ve been exposed to Agent Orange, are or have been a smoker, be on guard. Take charge of your health now. For in a flash it can change forever. Guess as I’m writing this, that’s my purpose for laying this out.

I just read the thread. I am so sad to find out that treatment with the best hopes and intentions has been so devastating. My prayer is that mercy will start taking identifiable shapes around your beloved and yourself, STAT. Because right now I cannot even see it and you need to see, feel, touch, and breathe mercy.
