When insurance denied the surgery my glaucoma doc wanted to do, we agreed that he would do a surgery that was on the approved list according to insurance. The clinic submitted the approval request too late so there was no decision in time for my May 23 surgery. The insurance company told the clinic today, May 29, that they *denied* the surgery. The one they had been trying to force my doctor to do. I am losing what vision I have left in the left eye and also losing my mind.
