Vintage tear catcher or lacromytory bottle. Used to catch tears during grieving.

@CinnamonGirlE I used to have one of those, but I put tears in it from laughing.

I ended up trading it to a witch. No idea what she wanted them for.

@AskTheDevil
lol. I would rather have tears from laughter too.

I read somewhere some.long time ago that the chemical composition of tears is different depending on whether they are tears or joy or tears of anguish

@publickovacs @AskTheDevil
I actually read a professional article on this once. It illustrated the different tyoes of tears. You could see the difference. I will link it if I can find it.

@CinnamonGirlE @publickovacs We apparently excrete stress chemicals in our tears, and the process actually makes us feel better.

@CinnamonGirlE @publickovacs I'd like to say "yes" but since I am also the person who at least once a day says "Whoever designed the human body is fired", it might come across as hypocritical.

@CinnamonGirlE @publickovacs To be fair, I do tend to take the bodies I wear through conditions beyond what the manufacturer would advise.
