Once he was on the couch, I just used a vague hand gesture and a happy tone of voice when saying 'can you look proud of your work?' and he literally sat up tall because he though he was getting praised. I likely reinforced the dish stealing behavior, though 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
