I respect holidays and mythologies. That said, in my adoptive country, those screaming 'freedom' the loudest are fascists who want to lynch elected leaders and end elections as a practice. My country of origin is the #fascism they seek to emulate. Our dogs are already fucked up from the last few days of fireworks. I myself suffer from noise phobia. Happy fucking fourth, people.
