@topspin7777 I want to share your hope, especially since public anger has shown its power when saving ACA. Yet, w #waronwomen we are up against millions who believe they are right and righteous when in fact they are entitled AF fascists. So I am ready to take to the streets and pressure Congress but I also see that it is uphill as a battle.

@publickovacs It either win that battle for women's choice or be subjected to minority rule by privileged, old white men who think they have the right to tell women they can't control their own bodies.

@dervishwaking I will fight right alongside you! Marriage equality is a good hill to die on. But I am in a hetero marriage to a Black man. The US has been telling itself the lie it didn't have a problem with that, for a few decades. If that is revealed to be the lie that it is, the dominant order will be so naked and Nazi.

@publickovacs The trouble we both have is the decision that reified my right to marry (Obergefell) and the decision that reified your right to marry (Loving) were both argued on the precedent of 14th Amendment right to privacy, just like Roe. So if they overturn Roe, we can expect to lose those as well as Griswold (birth control) and others...

@dervishwaking it is not nice to wish on someone that they be wrong but I wish you were wrong. Of course, you are completely right. Any and all argument based on the right to privacy is hereby under attack. We must put up the fight of our lives to defend them. It is not a given that our fight will work, though. Sorry to be a downer...
