Been to a few gigs with daughter but tomorrow we are heading down to Dublin to see her absolute favourite singer, Girl in Red. Iβm not a fan but i just canβt relate. Saying that Iβm absolutely so excited to be going!
Memories and all that.
Was out walking my dog and bumped into this fella.
Deserves to be bigger. Good songwriter.
Ciaran Lavery - To Chicago
Every so often Scott from Frightened Rabbit pops into my head and gives me the feels.
Not many artists whose death hit me. Probably because we shared a point and He was such a gent.
Anyway, mood
drunken sing along time
Tom Waits
But there's one thing you can't lose
And it's that feel
You can pawn your watch and chain
But not that feel
It always comes and finds you
It will always hear you cry
I cross my wooden leg
And I swear on my glass eye
It will never leave you high and dry
Never leave you loose
It's harder to get rid of than tattoos
My highlight from Glasto 1998 - Underworld.
Standing in a couple feet of muddy water, rain lashing down, loving every second.
Still one of my fav bands (fuck Oasis π)
Blur - song 2
Glastonbury weekend so Iβm going to fill up the timeline with my top Glasto gigs
1998, first band I saw - Gomez
Loving the new Iron and Wine album. Hereβs a song to sing along to and brighten your day.
Bit more music with the Albini touch. But quieter and beautiful
Low - closer
Tonight Iβm remembering Steve albini by listening to some fucking amazing music he helped make happen
Really enjoying the new Pearl Jam album, this song about his daughter has all the feels for me
Pearl Jam - Something Special
Not that I should need a reason to share this song but eclipse and all
Itβs gonna be alright
