Outer and inner walls with what would have been a 30 meter tall round tower. Defensive to protect the Monks from Vikings.
Didn't help. Last record of the place was of the burning of the Abbot.
Disneyesque garden for the Queens Jubilee. spinning trees and plants that danced about to music. Pretty but a bit cheesy.
dropped a neighbour up to the airport and stopped past Antrim Castle gardens on my way home for a dander. Lovely day for it.
hawthorn in bloom, check. Old ruined castle, check. hashtag Ireland. Shame there's blue sky 😂
Sheep Island. I've never seen sheep on it 🤷♂️
