I just love Nendrum for firing the imagination. Little P is doing Vikings at school so a place raided by the heathens has to be a good spot.
Round to Nendrum Monastery. A photobomb by little P
Then dander round to the village, if you could call it that. I love walking with little P because it's when you get her talking. I found out Omnisexual was something and that for now she is a she. I'm learning 😂
The Island has a lovely walk with views across the lough and Peninsula. It's a really peaceful part of the world really.
Sketrick has what's left of a Castle and a pub. They do a good lunch.
Today being last day of the hols I took little P for a walk around a part of Stanford Lough. Sketrick Island, Whiterock village and onto Island Magee to Nendrum. Beautiful weather, not the sort that makes moody photos but I'll photobomb the feed anyway lol
The last walk of 22, hope everyone had a good end to the year and let's grab 23 by the balls and remember to walk on air against your better judgement.

North over Belfast Lough, the hill top left is Slemish Mountain, were St Patrick was apparently kept as a slave for 6 years.
Took a walk over the fields to a local forest today, lovely and crisp
Last nights sunset on the other Lough.
Not sure I could ever live away from the sea for long.
