Coso requires membership and member fundraising. That’s it. No user data selling, no ads. It’s a small community and we still can’t meet Js bills.
X uses ads, your data and subs.
Bluesky will at some point use ads, likely sell your data and introduce subs.
Remember, there’s no such thing as a free lunch.

I'd be surprised if anyone here is looking to use the place as a CoSo alternative though. I know I'm using it purely to replace Twitter and keeping CoSo as my Number 1 👍
