Feel free to keep using other social networks but know the algorithm they used to keep you clicking will also be the algorithm they use against you

@FrankCannon aye then there’s the deluded. Family member was wrapped up in it. One day I was asking his wee kid how he was. “Dads always grumpy looking at his phone but he says he’s trying to save our future” spoke to him, mental health in tatters “I have 20,000 people following me”
So out of love I stalked him, reported every questionable post. Got him banned. He’s none the wiser but I saved his marriage.

@process Bluesky is much more like CoSo. No algorithm. And the nuclear block is awesome.
I checked out Threads. It's already infested with bots. I saw account after account yesterday posting the same thing: "I'm [X amount] days sober." No utility in that.
On Instagram I just follow happy accounts: animals, art, music.
