Would you look at the state of this cosplay Hitler. New far Right group in Ireland. It’s like a deleted scene from Father Ted or some shit.

@LiseL aye, don’t think he will ever get anywhere near the support of his hero thankfully. Laughing stock, though they did also say that about the other one.

Why the rise of the far right in the last decade does concern me, especially with the climate crisis in the mix

@process

I posted a NYT gift article about just that a while ago. That they even have a voice is alarming.

@LiseL it really is. Migration is the big thing these days and it’ll only get much worse as places become unlivable.

@process @LiseL follow the money. The Right need only provide a little seed money to a few to be influencers to appear like a grass roots movement. The Right wing media feeds, promotes, and echoes the agenda and vulnerable people are drawn in to the mirage thinking they will get sweet tea, but it will take them years to see they served themselves a glass of sand.

@process Who is this and how did he become such an angry leprechaun? And I'm part Irish btw.

@AnnetteTRemain Justin Barrett, former leader of the Irish Nationalist Party. Bit of a bust up and now he’s forming his own. No problem with that, split their already tiny base

@process That shouldn't have been comical but he looked ridiculous.
