On the sidewalk I saw a snake I didn't recognize. Gave it wide clearance. After searching online I learned it's an eastern milk snake. Harmless. Photo not mine.

The farmer is here combining the late soybeans. Everything will be harvested after today.

Was missing car key for 2 or 3 weeks. Got new key cut yesterday for car. Then the battery was down enough it wouldn't turn over. Charged battery. Was driving in town today and the front axle came apart. You can call me superstitious, but I don't think God wants me driving. 🤣
