George takes a break for a picture before he goes back to investigating every square inch of the farm.

I finished wrestling with George. Now he's just looking at me like this. "What's next? Entertain me!"
Good morning! This little guy isn't doing much here, but he's a barn swallow who can dart and dive, do all sorts of aerobatics. Don't normally see one this close, so was happy he dropped by when he did. #cosophotography #birds
Good morning everyone! ๐
This is an eastern bluebird who visited a while back. I haven't seen many around here.

Good morning CoSo! A backyard friend. If I remember right, this is a chickadee. My bird ID skills haven't been used in a while. #cosophotography #birds
Dad died 6 years ago today. Photos from 1947-2016. I'm the 2 year old in the family photo. The 1946 photo is dad with his mom. I'm right now sitting just inside the window they're in front of.
Dad was a carpenter, loved to tell stories, was a keen sportsman who was an amazing shot. #genealogy #family
Good morning! Despite the red on it's head, they call this a red bellied woodpecker. #cosophotography #birds
This was my great uncle Vincent. He was mentally handicapped because of a high fever when he was 2, which was followed by epilepsy. Since he was born in 1901, there wasn't anything that could be done.
He made paths through the woods, put stones across any small stream (some of the stones were massive), and picked blackberries. The berries would be heaped to a peak in the bucket, but none would ever fall as he carried them. He was gentle and quiet.
Vincent died 35 years ago today at age 86.
#Christian. Theoretically a #poet. #Genealogy nut. ๐บ๐ฒ(๐ฎ๐ช๐ซ๐ท๐ฌ๐ง๐ฉ๐ช) Theoretically a photographer of #birds. But now I have a dog, George, whom birds flee.
