Magic. I have a 2-metre long Lightning extension cable that suffered a bent Lighting plug when overstressed in the wrong direction. Today I bought a Bondic brand fixer-upperer thingie. Shaped like a pistol, it has a UV LED above a tube of goop. Apply the goop, reposition the parts to be fixed & play the LED over it for about 5 seconds. The goop hardens & the repair is made. There’s also a sanding block to roughen up the surfaces & a spare tube of goop. The LED batteries are replaceable.

Excellent! Glad to hear that stuff works.
I bought the cheapo version (with a tiny UV LED keychain-style light) to try it out, forgot about it, and the tube of goop had polymerized on its own by the time I remembered it. 😟
