Is it the underlying purpose or the unintended consequence? Anyway, it makes me go hmmm...

This is actually believable. "Hiker lost for 24 hours ignored phone calls from rescuers because they came from unknown number."

But every help system ALWAYS says the call volume is higher than normal. Mathematically, that’s not possible.

Uh, Microsoft? I have a question. For years now, every time you change the TOS, you say you’re making it “clearer.” What’s so hard about clear communications?

(Answer: “We don’t want it to be clear. We have to keep updating our obfuscation terminology.”)

FLOWCHART: Has your Social Security Number been leaked online?
(humor)

I am so grateful that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. didn’t endorse me for President. Every four years I run as a write-in candidate, and his endorsement would’ve ruined my chances of winning this November.

In light of the recent news about Social Security numbers being exposed for pretty much every American: you can take one step that will substantially reduce your risk and make that information less valuable to the cybercriminal. Turn on text alerts for all of your financial transactions. They’re fast! When I pump gas, I get the text alert before I even get back in the car.

How old am I? Well, my first job was Tier 1 Tech Support in the IT Department for the construction company that built the Parthenon.

Today we went to the Titanic exhibit currently in Seattle. It was fantastic, and I highly recommend it! There are real artifacts recovered from the ship.
In the Memorial Room at the end of the exhibit they have displays with the names of everyone who died. It shows their name and age. It was sad to see the names of babies and toddlers. On the list of crew members who died, the oldest was William Cheverton. Find his name near the center of the picture. He was probably close to retirement.

Change it to "gentleman," and I can use it. Anyway, I saw this on FB and thought someone might smile when they read it, so here it is, just for you.

Listen, this is probably going to come as a shock, but I don't have to reply at all if I'm not interested.

Well, that's interesting.
