Cybercriminals are actively using a fake domain to send emails.
The emails appear to be from:
squareup(dot)net
The real domain is:
squareup(dot)com
I received the email shown in the screenshot on July 30. All links in the email are disguised with a link shortener. Don’t click! Mark the email as spam/phishing/junk and delete.
Security Alert: Please remember that every email and text message you receive during Amazon Prime Day that says “Amazon Prime Day” isn’t necessarily from Amazon. If you order something from Amazon, remember that not every email and text message that claims to be a “shipping update” is necessarily from Amazon. Don’t click on links in emails or text messages. Log in to your Amazon account to check the status of orders.
