I encountered a major error in a software install that would cause other software to be uninstallable.

I contacted the developer.

First they claimed there was no bug.

So I showed them the bug, and then they were like "Okay, there's a bug, but it's in someone else's software, so there's no way for us or the end-user to fix it".

So then I showed them how to fix it, too.

I wish people who say it can't be done would get out of the way of people doing it.

In case I get busy...
