Democrats arenāt the only ones who need soul-searching
The problem is much bigger than that. Itās important for the American people to do some soul-searching about whatās wrong with us. Itās especially important to ask: What happened to our sense of values? Like me, you were probably instilled by your parents with a basic sense of whatās right and wrong, a set of values that was far more important than what political party we might someday belong to.

But hereās what should really trouble us all. Itās not that Donald Trump trampled on the values weāve lived by our entire lives. We donāt expect any better from him. Whatās shocking is that over half the American people said they donāt care.
They donāt care if Trump is a lying, lawless, crude, obscene, serial adulterer and convicted felon who tried to stop the peaceful transfer of power. Theyāre willing to forget all about that becauseā¦Why? They think heāll lower the cost of a dozen eggs?

@nursefrombirth Even before Trump. The sense that there is no safe place in America. Even driving you might be taken out in a road rage incident. And now all the phobias will be amped up to increase violence. In my childhood, you never even knew how someone's parents voted.
that š... that is the major reason why I'm leaving the US. The other is to be able to afford to live a better quality of life than I will be able to have when the tariffs & inflationary economic policies begin.
President Mieli, Trumps imitator, took office in 2022 pledging to bring down prices. Inflation has skyrocketed from 78% to 133.5%
I suggest that everyone who reads this begin
a personal austerity program for when inflation begins to rise mid 2025.

@nursefrombirth What I continue to struggle with is how people think he can lower prices on anything. He doesn't even understand tariffs, FFS. If lowered prices could somehow complement him, then maybe he would find a way, but yea, no. #politics
