Police In Georgia Stumble Across Massive Drug Stash While Cleaning Up After Hurricane Helene

The sheriff’s department posted a cheeky message on Facebook inviting whoever misplaced the stash to stop by the station along with pictures documenting an array of drugs including bags of vacuum-sealed marijuana, THC vape cartridges, edibles, cough syrup, and an assortment of pills.

@nursefrombirth Yay? I mean, good to get this off the street. But this didn't just end up on the public roads in that condition. I worry this is more likely police using the chaos of the hurricane to enter a location they hadn't been granted a warrant for. Begging the question, who else did they violate under the pretense of recovery because they had suspicions they couldn't document well enough for a warrant. They're teasing them - mad we took your stuff? What can you do about it?
