Does it bother anyone else when the media says "President Trump?" He's NOT the president.
@kel Well they have no problem saying Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton etc. If so, be consistent.
Bothers the ever-livin' f#%@ outta me, @nursefrombirth π€¬
@nursefrombirth Former presidents are often referred to as "President....". There are so many reasons to get our hackles up about trump already. We don't need to make up new ones
@GlennS Well, I didn't make up my feelings, they are mine.
@nursefrombirth that's up to you, of course. I already have a list of beefs against trump longer than i can count.
@nursefrombirth @GlennS
I'm with you. Of course, there's no shortage of issues with Trump, but this is about condemnation of the media. They can be all respectful abt TFG but then it's considered OK for the Times to say "Lord almighty Joe, let it go!" There's a ridiculous double standard. It's obscene actually.
@nursefrombirth Bothered me when TFG was still in office
@nursefrombirth Hopefully it will be Convict Don soon! What a waste of human life he is! π‘
@nursefrombirth
It bothers me for hundreds of reasons but First I don't believe he won legally in 2016 (too much external interference, media bias and more.)
Second, he never functioned as anything but a mob boss and should have been removed. Now he's violating the Logan act and getting away with it.
As a veteran hearing him called president makes me ill.
@nursefrombirth No, because all former Presidents are referred to in that way.
It's not about respect for the man. It's about respect for the office.
