ALL those who terrorize the loved ones in their lives with Domestic Violence should be unable to purchase a firearm and/or be in a position of power over others until they can prove that they've taken therapeutic measures to help them deal with their rage issues.

When press outlets softball terms like ‘lynching’ to refer to the negative response/attention that happens when somebody says or does something COMLETELY HORRIBLE online, that is an editorial choice to try to take the bite out of the ACTUAL LYNCHINGS that Black United States citizens suffered - and STILL TODAY suffer at the hands of citizens steeped in hateful White-Supremacist Capitalist Patriarchy.

DO BETTER.

Hey in NYC HEADS UP if you see this homophobic clown, please call the police immediately. Let’s get this, asshole off the streets and lock down in a cell where he belongs.

(I think I made this public but if you can’t share it, please let me know and I’ll change it. Thank you for your patience with me today.)

@Reocares It's horrifying.

I can't wrap my head around why it still happens with such ridiculous frequency.

It is insupportable to me that churches shift ‘problematic’ parishioners and deacons/priests/etc to other parishes - and how LEO’s do the same thing to ‘problematic’ officers.

These people are freely allowed to assault and rape the children and women around them, and when the heat gets too strong, they get transferred to continue terrorizing the public.

Why does this society continue to allow this to happen?

Today I am 55.

I honestly never saw myself making it past 30. I am THRIVING in my fifties - it's been a blast.

I am grateful for the time given, and I'm just getting started. :)

So, I was going to post something sweet for the Trans Day of Remembrance -- something about the transgender people who've worked to make the world a better place -- but right now my mind's stuck on what happened at Club Q.

We are people too.

We're trying to live our lives and many of us try to make the world a bit happier, a bit brighter, than it was when we came into it.

Remember us. Remember the light we bring when we feel joy, the hugs we give, the smiles we offer.

I heard a suggestion that if you have gone through a manipulative circumstance, whether it be family, friendship, or a romantic relationship; then you should keep a journal where you write about what you think love is on a daily basis. It is expected that as you grow in hindsight you will discover that love is obviously not what you just went through that at one point you did indeed think was love.
