So Hasidic schools in New York are collecting funds and exercising their religion. On the one hand it seems concerning, maybe things need to change but on the other hand this seems bigoted as all get out. They have been doing the same thing in Utah in some of their settlements , in Amish country and some rural places and collecting tons of federal and state money for YEARS. They even call it milking the beast.

Having grown up in the midwest, I recall it being a near-monthly tradition for assholes to spray paint swastikas & slurs on Yeshiva schools & the JCC; that shit costs money to remove.

Do Amish & other schools endure the same perpetual harassment? Asking, as I honestly don't know.

And FTR, having no kids, I have no real skin in the game, so to speak. @Render might have more recent info on the topic.
