I love her ❤️
@heatherdale Same here. I've been able to see her live once, sometimes twice, a year, except for 2020 and 2021, because she is based here.
@nealfig
You are so lucky! I have never had that pleasure.
Here’s one of my faves. I know Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys had an early version of it but I’m not sure who wrote it

@heatherdale If you like Western Swing, perhaps you've heard of Hot Club of Cowtown.

Amazing!
@heatherdale Are you familiar with the Boswell Sisters, one of many influences on Alex Pangman?

@heatherdale They were influential, especially on vocal groups. Connee Boswell later went solo.
@heatherdale The Wikipedia page suggests that they may have broken up after one of them got married. Interestingly, the last recording was "Let Yourself Go", the song in my Pangman post!
"... they broke up. The last recording was made on February 12, 1936 (Irving Berlin's "Let Yourself Go" and "I'm Putting All My Eggs In One Basket"). Approximately one month earlier, Martha Boswell had married ..."
@nealfig
seems an odd choice to go solo when their harmonies are so brilliant and flawless
