@naikarrah ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ it's a Darwin test to root out the stupid ones.

@Dane
If only it was the cas that infection is that selective.
People have to work this event, shop for this event, bring in outside supplies, attendees who have been heaven knows where/with whom, and each of these people has the potential to be infectied already, or become infected without knowing..
every single contact of each person prepping/working/attending for the following 7-10d afterward has exponential potential for super-spread.

@naikarrah Feel so sorry for the employees who are forced to work at these events. Job hunting for service work in a closed economy is not something I would want to do. Wonder who has the guts to turn down the invitation. Also...does the DC Mayor have rights/ability to prevent more than 12 or whatever number people in attendance?

@ACG2
WH is Federal property, which makes it beyond the Mayor's jurisdiction to regulate, sadly.

the scariest parts of this equation for me are:
(1) how many people each one working/attending will come into contact with over next7-10 days afterward
(2) what, EXACTLY, is the *real* purpose behind this event--at this particular moment?
