Just had to block my first person here on CoSo for being overly entitled and thinking that other people should immediately stop what they are doing to pay attention to them.
I don't like temper tantrums in children, and certainly not in adults. "If you don't respond to me RIGHT NOW, I'm never going to listen to you again!"
And here's my response that type of behavior:
I didn’t respond to a #coso guy fast enough a few weeks ago and he called me a c*nt. I reported and blocked. Wonder if it’s the same guy? He got a warning.
@LnzyHou This was someone who just started following me yesterday, made a song request (which I played on my show) and then rather obsessively favorited and boosted my last couple dozen or so posts all at once before getting mad that I didn't instantly respond to him.
While CoSo is far and away the nicest and most well-behaved of social media sites out there, there are still some folks that really push the boundaries of acceptable behavior even on here.
@GaryPoole @LnzyHou All social media is a microcosm. Which unfortunately means all the cross-sections of crazy in the world are present.
You’re right. I still am shocked by adult name-calling. Especially unprovoked. If others hadn’t seen it, I would think I had misunderstood.
I hadn’t.
@GaryPoole When men call me that, I always reply, "Damn straight. I'm the biggest C you ever met" Then they go on to tell me what an awful person I am because I deflected their misogny. And I laugh because all I did was mirror them and showed them who they are. 🤷 @LnzyHou @elric
@elric Exactly ;-) I take insults and turn them into strengths and it really messes with people. 🤷 @GaryPoole @LnzyHou
@mistressticia @GaryPoole @LnzyHou I doff my chapeau to you!
